It’s been a long month since we last assembled.  How are you doing?

The call will start at 7pm.  At 8pm we will have some brief announcements and conduct any necessary provincial business.
Following the meeting, we will observe a moment of silence and share memories of those we have lost.  The call will remain open until at least 10pm, and as long thereafter as people wish to hang out.

Our next provincial commons is this coming Friday, February 21st, at the New Rochelle Public library. We will begin gathering at 7pm, meeting will commence at 8pm, with socializing and sachet making afterwards! All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The library is easily reached via public transit — take the Metro North New Haven line to the New Rochelle station and walk 2 blocks from the station to the library. (Exit the south end of the platform, walk east along Memorial Highway past the library green to the plaza entrance to the library.) There is a small parking lot on the east side of the library, for the convenience of those of us who will be driving to the meeting.

As usual, you may telecommute to the meeting via Google Meet. You can videoconference using the Google Meet app or your web browser, or audioconference using a plain old telephone.

For the sachet making workshop, we will have linen scraps, needles & thread, scissors, and sachet contents: lavender, cedar, cloves and spearmint. I also have flax seeds, if anyone wants to make eye pillows. You may take your sachet home with you, or donate it to the province’s largesse offering to Queen Margarita. The largesse sachets will be gifted to scent armor bags(!!), garb trunks, and the like.

If you are allergic to any of the above herbs, and you wish to attend the meeting, please let me know! I will not bring any problematic materials. You are welcome to bring other sachet contents, additional fabric scraps and/or your own personal needlework supplies, as you prefer.
