Appleholm Solar: Dance! Thursday, May 21

Posted inA&S Night, Canton of Appleholm, Dance

After a several year hiatus, dance is back in Appleholm, with the intent that we will bring refinement and grace back to our fair province. What dance we teach is yet undetermined: reach out if you have strong opinions. Current bets are on 15th century Italian.

We will meet at 6 pm and continue until about 8.

The location is weather pending.

If the weather is fair: we will meet atop Belvedere Castle in Central Park.
If the weather is foul: please check the Appleholm webpage for updates and the Appleholm Discord.

All are welcome to join in. No Society membership or previous experience required. No fee. Modern attire; come as you are. We look forward to seeing you! RSVP to 143578@members.eastkingdom.org would be helpful so we do not start dance instruction without you.

Vice Regent Polling Extended!

Posted inUncategorized

Greetings Ostgardr,

Vice Regent Polling has been extended to April 30th!

As you know, we were short on votes for the Vice Regent polling, so I’ve been working to have new polls sent out. If you filled out this form (https://forms.gle/Mr9MLNvJVXyQmwXh7) and are an active Ostgardr resident, a new poll should have been sent to the email you provided. I will also be reaching out to a few individuals whose membership we were unable to verify.

If you have not received your poll or are unable to locate it, please fill out the form and I will have the Kingdom resend it.

Thank you to everyone who has voted, provided feedback, and helped with this process.

Thank you,

–Ragnarr Blisskeg

Valhalla Weather Update

Posted inCalendar, Event

As of this afternoon, @ 3:30 PM , we are still planning to hold Deck the Halls of Valhalla as scheduled tomorrow, Sunday February 22 with a modified schedule to conclude the event earlier in the day and hopefully beat the arrival of accumulating snow.

Class schedules (slots at 11am and 1pm) and bardic plans remain the same, but we will hold court following the classes and then conclude the event early. Doors will still open at 10:00am. If you have preregistered for the event but feel you cannot attend due to the incoming weather conditions, you may email Frank at exchequer@ostgardr.eastkingdom.org for a refund of the fees.

We will monitor the conditions outdoors and the forecasts leading up to the event and during the event – and keep attendees updated if the situation changes. Hopefully this goes without saying, but if you feel you need to leave earlier than 3pm, there’s no judgement.
