Driscoll aka Kaylee (sp?).

Pennsic. Fighter practice restarted on
Tuesdays. Looking into indoor practice site in
L.I.City. Seamus of Arindale to make 5 suits of

Barleycorn is coming. Reserve. There's
still yurt space.
- Historian:
Did anything happen at Pennsic? (Various
people answered.) Give me stories & tales.
- Chatelaine (Rowan): Gold Key seems to be in good
shape. There was a Chatelaine's meeting at
Pennsic; nobody went. Making more G&W

fencing marshals). Send newcomers to me.
Running low on business cards.
- Seneschal:
At Riverfest, there was no Chatelaine's table; need
Chatelaine kit.

Pennsic was great. Held court during OG
potluck. Alex was declared Youth Combat

seahorses] and Gatherer of Prisoners.
Discussion of paid social-media marketing (targeted
by geography, interests, etc.) on Facebook to bring
newcomers to demos, events, etc.
- Archery:

Did You Know?
The Crown Province of Østgarðr has a badge, "A
seahorse erect azure, hoofed, orbed and crined Or,"
that residents of the Crown Province have been using, de
facto, as a "populace badge" for many years.
You could wear it on your hat, or paint it on your
goblet, or embroider it on a pennon. Let your
Østgarðrian Spirit Flag fly!

Our Webbed database of upcoming early-music concerts in
the Østgarðr area seems not to have survived the
transition to the East Kingdom server. Until we get it
working again, please see polyphony.com.

-
What looked like a "bottle top" in a Norfolk field
turned out to be a gold Anglo-Saxon pendant.
-
A British writer claims to have cracked
the enigma behind the early-fifteenth-century
Voynich Manuscript--but medieval scholars aren't
buying it.
-
The lost city of Neapolis, sunk by a massive
trunami, has been rediscovered.
-
Community volunteers at a West Berkshire excavation
discover a large, colorful mosaic of Bellerophon
fighting the Chimera.
-
And now for something completely different:
this author opines that labor-saving,
Internet-enabled "smart" devices are
destroying the concept
of basic property ownership, potentially leading
to a 21st-century version of feudalism.
