After a contentious reign, Shojun Rakkuri, king of the East, fled the kingdom. He was succeeded by Cariadoc & Diana (crowned 07/08/1972), then Jehan & Lauryan (10/15/1972), and the third reign of Akbar and Khadijah (01/06/1973).
The first Pennsic War was held in the summer of 1972.
The first issue of the Pikestaff was published in August 1972, replacing the kingdom’s first newsletter, the Pennoncel.
